From Phanfare Support
There are two sides to Phanfare:
- The Phanfare Photo software which you use to arrange your photos and videos into albums;
- and the web-based albums that you share with others.

Browser requirements
You can use almost any web browser and any type of computer to view your online albums. Your online albums work best with modern web browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer 6 or 7, or Safari 1.3. Flash Player version 8 is required to view slideshows and videos. Flash Player version 9 is required to view slideshows full-screen.
Network requirements
Although, we know that a handful of customers are successfully using Phanfare on a dial-up connection, we do not test on non-broadband connections. Since uploading photos and videos requires significant time and bandwidth, we recommend using Phanfare on a broadband connection (DSL, cable modem, T1, etc.).
If you use Windows
The Phanfare Photo application requires a Windows PC running either Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista.
Phanfare also requires the Microsoft .NET Framework. If you don't have Microsoft .NET installed, Phanfare will install it for you.
Phanfare Photo works best on systems with a 300MHz Pentium II class processor or faster. We recommend at least 128MB of RAM and 512MB of free disk space.
If you use a Mac
Phanfare requires Mac OS X, version 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard). Phanfare is a Universal application and will run on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.
