Password/Security options for albums

From Phanfare Support

When you create a new Phanfare album, you can decide what level of security you want for your album.

By default, your album’s security will depend on the security you choose for your Table of Contents.

  • If you do not require visitors to enter a password to view your Table of Contents page, then viewing your album will not require a password either.
  • If you have set a password for your Table of Contents page and send out a link directly to your album, visitors will have to enter the same password you have set for your Table of Contents page.

  2. Make sure the "Same as Table of Contents" checkbox is unchecked and the "Show album on website" checkbox is checked.
  3. Check the "Password Required for Web Access" checkbox.
  4. Put a password in the field labelled "Access Password".
  5. Click "OK".

  4. Put a password in the field labeled "Access Password".
  5. Click "Done".
