Hiding albums

You can prevent an album from being displayed on your Web site. You might do this because some photos are private, or simply because your album isn't ready for online viewing yet.
If you use Windows
Right-click on the album that you want to hide and select Don't Show on Website. To unhide, just right-click again and select Show on Website.
You can also hide albums using the Album Properties dialog box.
- Select the album you want to hide.
- Select the Edit -> Album Properties menu or right-click on the album and select Properties.
- Make sure the "Same as Table of Contents" checkbox is unchecked.
- Uncheck the "Show album on the website" checkbox.
- Click "Update".
When an album is hidden, the icon next to the album name changes to show that it will not display on the web.
If you use a Mac
Ctrl-click on the album that you want to hide and select Don't Show on Website.
To unhide, just right-click again and select Show on Website.
You can also hide albums using the Album Security dialog box.
- Select the album you want to edit.
- Click the Security button on the toolbar.
- Make sure the "Inherit website security settings" checkbox is unchecked.
- Uncheck the "Show this album on the website" checkbox.
- Click "Done".
When an album is hidden, a red NO symbol in the icon next to the album name changes to show that it will not display on the web.
