Express creation of a new album

The fastest way to create a new album within Phanfare Photo is to drag and drop images and video or a folder directly onto the "Create New Album in year" button at the top of the target year.
If you drag individual images and videos, your new album will be called New Album. If you drag a folder to the button, the album will be given the same name as the folder. Subfolders are not imported when you drag in folders. You must bring them in separately.

Note: The new album will have the "auto-date" feature enabled, setting the date range of the album based on the dates the pictures were taken. Your camera must have the clock set properly for this feature to work.
Create an album in one step
If you use Microsoft Windows
- Drag and drop images onto the "Create a new album in year" button above the appropriate year in the lefthand album list.
- Double click on the new album.
- Type a name in the "Album name" field. (If you dragged a folder in, Phanfare will default to using that folder's name as the album name.)
- Click the "Update" button.
If you use a Mac
