You can not edit video using Phanfare Photo. Video will not appear in the ImageDetail screens you use for editing your photos.

Editing Video Outside of Phanfare

From within Windows you can edit your video with a variety of commercial and freeware programs.

• You can use Microsoft's free Movie Maker program to do simple editing, however, for more sophisticated editing you can use Adobe Premier.
• On the Mac platform, you can edit video using iMovie or Final Cut (Pro or Express).
  
  

We currently accept videos up to 10 minutes in length (overall file size must also be under 2GB). This limit is set high so that the majority of our users should not have to spend time compressing their videos in order to upload them to Phanfare. If you do want to compress your video, however, it is often possible to reduce the size of video files significantly without a commensurate loss in quality by using a high quality compressing codec, such as the one that produces WMV files from within Microsoft's Movie Maker software.

Note that compatibility is best if you save your movies as MPEG. We attempt to convert all videos to Flash, the most widely compatible format. (Read details on video conversion.)
