Downloading/Installing Phanfare

New customers

If you use Microsoft Windows

1. Sign up (https://www.phanfare.com/startfreetrial.aspx) for a free trial.

2. You will then be taken to a download page.

3. If the download doesn't begin automatically, click the "Download Now" button.

4. The following dialog should appear. Click the "Run" button.

5. The following window will appear. Click the "Run" button.

6. The Phanfare Photo Setup box will appear.Click the "OK" button.

7. The Phanfare Photo Setup Wizard will start. Continue pressing the "Next" button to install the software.

Note: If your system does not have the Microsoft .NET Framework (http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/gettingstarted/default.aspx), the .NET framework will install first, followed by Phanfare Photo.

If you use a Mac

Using the Safari web browser

1. Click the Download button to begin the download.
2. Download will begin automatically. If you get a dialog box asking if you are sure you want to continue, click Continue.
3. A Finder window will open, revealing the Phanfare Photo application.
4. Drag Phanfare Photo into your Applications folder.

Using Firefox or Internet Explorer

1. Click the Download button to begin the download.
2. If prompted, save the .dmg to your desktop.
3. Open the .dmg file by double-clicking on it.
4. A Finder window will open, revealing the Phanfare Photo application.
5. Drag Phanfare Photo into your Applications folder.

Existing customers

If you are already a Phanfare customer and you want to install Phanfare on another computer or need to reinstall it, download the software (https://www.phanfare.com/download_client.aspx) and follow the directions above starting at step 2.

One of the benefits of Phanfare is that you can install the software on multiple computers and have access to your photos and videos. Your family and friends do not need to install Phanfare to view your photos. They only need a computer with an Internet connection and a web browser.
