Changing album name/description/date
From Phanfare Support
When you create an album in Phanfare, you give it a name, description, and date.
- The name is the album title that appears on your Table of Contents page.
- The description is the narrative that appears above the thumbnails on each main album page.
- The date is what Phanfare uses to order your albums on your Table of Contents page.
You can edit each of these items individually.
If you use Microsoft Windows
- Open Phanfare.
- Right click on the album you want to edit and select "Properties", or select an album and then select the "Edit -> Album Properties" menu.
- Change the album name in the text field labeled "Album name".
- Change the album description in the text field labeled "Description". Descriptions can include HTML tags.
- Change the date by entering start and end dates in the Album Date section. (You may first have to uncheck the "Automatically Detect Date from Images" checkbox, which tells Phanfare to base the album date on the date the photos were taken.)
- Press "Update".
Note: End dates are optional. Include one if you want Phanfare to specify a date range (e.g., May 5-8) in your Table of Contents.
If you use a Mac
- Open Phanfare Photo.
- Select an album.
- Click the "Album Options" button in the toolbar, or select the "Album -> Album Options" menu.
- Change the album name in the text field labeled "Title".
- Change the album description in the text field labeled "Description".
- Change the date by entering a start date in the Album Date section. (You may first have to uncheck the "Automatically Detect Date from Images" checkbox, which tells Phanfare to base the album date on the date the photos were taken.)
- You can specify a date range by checking the "Album spans multiple dates" checkbox and then entering an end date.
- Press "Done".
