Adding music to a slideshow
From Phanfare Support
Phanfare offers several tracks of stock music that both PC and Macintosh users can add to their slideshows. PC and Mac Users
can also upload .mp3, .wma, .m4a, and .ogg files into their account's music library and add these songs to their slideshows, too. You can also add music directly from your iTunes music library (not music purchased from the iTunes Music Store though, since that has DRM on it)
Currently, Phanfare lets you add one music track per slideshow. If an album has sections, you can choose a different music track to play during the slideshow for each section. Using Windows Movie Maker on the PC, you can add multiple songs per album or section.

Adding songs to your music library
To add a song to your music library, go to Tools on the Phanfare application menu and select "Music Library" as shown below.
Then, click Add Music to navigate your hard drive to add tracks, or select Import from iTunes to bring in music from your iTunes music library.
Importing songs from your hard drive
Select browse and locate the music file on your computer that you want to upload. Once selected, it will likely autopopulate the Artist, Album Name, and Title Fields. If not autopopulated or if you want to edit the information, you can type in these fields. Hit upload to complete the process. When the indicator on the bottom of your main Phanfare application screen reads "Website Up-to-date," you can then add the track to one or more of your album slideshows.
Importing songs from iTunes
The iTunes Library Importer will display all of the non-copy-proteced (DRM'd) material in your iTunes music library. In other words, it won't include music purchased from the iTunes Music Store.
You can sort any of the columns to find tracks more quickly, or you can type a portion of the artist, album or track title in the search box and the importer will quickly jump to that selection. Click Upload selected to complete the process. When the indicator on the bottom of your main Phanfare application screen reads "Website Up-to-date," you can then add the track to one or more of your album slideshows.
